Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach me at leah@theprofsbeadlibrary.com if you cannot find an answer to your question. I'm happy to help!

At present, the website is the place to shop my designs, as I am also creating inventory for my large Christmas 2-day show. Please shop the website (where all of my available inventory lives) until the Showroom opens in early December.

My private Showroom is located in my home in Diamondhead, Miss. (6428 Oliwa Place).

  • Items listed under “NEW!” and throughout the store are *mostly* immediately available.
  • If a piece is listed as sold out, no worries! You may contact me to place an order for that piece, though please be advised that . . .
  •  . . . the lead time for firing a piece that is sold out is generally 5-7 days. But good news: even though I can reproduce say, a certain earring design, your leah beads will be totally unique, as it is impossible to exactly duplicate hand-fired beads.
  • See something in the Photo Gallery that caught your eye? Good news- even olde pieces in my collection may still be re-ordered (but with small allowances for the passing of time and available colors/materials); indeed, some of my bestsellers have been re-ordered multiple times over the years.

It's so easy! You'll pay for your pieces up front on the website, then I will create your order. You'll come pick up the order at my house (6428 Oliway Pl, Diamondhead, MS 39520) at our agreed-upon time (please contact me to arrange). Finally, I'll happilyscoot out to your car with the goodies. Voila!

On the website, I accept credit / debit cards. Payment via Paypal is also available.  At my home shows, I accept all forms of payment. Local checks only.

Yes, 7% sales tax is the law on sold goods and services in the state of Mississippi. In accordance with the law, I am required to charge sales tax and to remit my collected taxes each month to the state.

Yes! While all orders are carefully packaged, you may "add on" at a nominal fee my signature gift bag and tissue paper in my brand colors, along with signature business and rack cards about me, my studio, and process. Everything is done for you so that your beady pieces are ready for gift giving!

Not at this time. At present, I am working to place items in the Showroom and here, on my wesbite. Once I have a solid collection going, I will be open to collaborating on custom pieces.

I only use sterling silver or gold-filled earwires for my earring designs (though headpins and eyepins may or may not be sterling). Many of my bracelets and necklaces feature sterling silver/gold-filled clasps and findings, though I might also use certain base metals, such as brass and "pewter"-- alloy pieces that are silver or gold plated (given the prohibitive cost of working only with sterling silver, I have begun to incorporate findings of a more affordable nature. I work hard to use only high-quality plated pieces). Where possible, I use good-quality sterling silver clasps. Of course, if you prefer only sterling silver metals in your bracelet or necklace, I will work with you in person to plan this pricier project.
